The proposal includes the construction of an extension to the Appliance Bay to meet bulk and form requirements of the Fire and Emergency Station Design Requirements to IL4. This alteration will provide a separated transitional locker area and will require an upgrade to the ablution area to provide Access and Facilities for Persons with Disabilities and Means of Escape from Fire in compliance with Sections 112-118 of the New Zealand Building Act 2004.
