Tenders Are Invited For Construction In Angkor Water Resilience Project Category: Invitation To Bid Location: Siem Reap, Cambodia *Bid Will Be Split In 3 Separate Outcomes Outcome 1: Doun Keo Canals& Dyke System - This Activity Proposes To Extend The Doun Keo Canal & Dyke System, Rehabilitating And Increasing The Length Of The OBrokeab Canal By 2,430 Metres In The First Phase And Another 810 Metres In The Second Phase. To Support The Systems Effectiveness The 1,150 Metres Of The OKo Ngeab Sub-Canal/Dyke, And Part Of The Anlong Thlouk Dyke Will Also Be Rehabilitated. To Facilitate The Water Management Options Four (4) Water Gates And A Weir Structure Will Provide Connections, Linking The Doun Keo Canal/Dyke System With The Sub-Canals And The Pouk And Stoeung Preah Srok Rivers. Outcome 2: Ancient Road/Dyke, GateS And Reservoirs - This Activity Proposes To Rehabilitate And Restore (8,300) Kilometres Of The Ancient Northern Embankment Dyke/Canal System, Including Ten (10) More Significant Repair Sites, Which Will Increase The Water Catchment. To Facilitate Water Management Options: Three (3) Existing Water Gates Will Be Rehabilitated And Eleven (11) New Water Gates, And Another Five (5) Combined Spillway/Water Gates Will Be Constructed. Outcome 3: Monitoring Wells - The Monitoring Wells Are Constructed With A Raised Structure To Enhance The Monitoring Effectiveness And Reduce The Potential Of Contamination With Surface Water And/Or Pollutants. The Groundwater Monitoring Wells Are Proposed To Be In The School And Pagoda Sites, To Enable Operation And Maintenance.
