The Polices Joint Services (Pft), Hereafter Referred To As The Client, Shall, On Behalf Of The National Id Center (Nid), Enter Into An Agreement For The Acquisition Of A Saas Solution For Archives And Case Management. Nid Is A Professionally Independent Expert Body Administratively Under The Norwegian Police Directorate (Pod). One Of The Core Tasks Of Nid Is To Carry Out Third-Line Investigations Of Id, Travel And Supporting Documents In Immigration Cases And Other Cases Related To Identity Clarifications On Behalf Of Various External Clients Including The Police Districts, Udi, Une, Nav And The State Administrator. Nid Operates The Largest Document Laboratory In Norway Within The Aforementioned Case Categories And Processes A Large Number Of Documents Whose Authenticity Must Be Assessed At Third-Line Level. Through Assistance And Advice, Nid Will Strengthen The Work To Clarify The Identity Of Foreigners Who Come To, Or Stay In, Norway. .
