Tenders are invited for Upgrading of Tikonko Junction Kpetema Mattru Jong Road Project Lot Ii: Tikonko Kpetema, Moyoroh Junction Serabu (38.1km). In general, the proposed Tikonko Kpetema Mattru Jong Road Project aims at contributing to the economic development of national and local communities in the southern region. The project is part of GoSLs program to develop the transport sector in general and the network of the national roads in particular. The road is the second part of the 72.6Km from the whole Tikonko Junction Mattru Jong Road that links the provincial town of Bo through Tikonko, Bumpeh, Kpetema, Motua, Bauya and Mattru Jong in the Southern Provinces. The project entails the upgrading of the remaining 30.1km road length from Tikonko Junction Mattru Jong to asphaltic paved condition with a carriageway width of 7.3m and 1.5m shoulders, with wide sections at towns and villages, and sidewalks, construction of culverts, and the spur from Moyoroh Junction Serabu as well as utility diversion and the mitigation of the environmental and social impacts. The 72.6Km stretch was divided into two Lots: Lot I Kpetema Mattru Jong 42.5Km and Lot II Tikonko Junction Kpetema 30.1Km. The scope of the works for this section (Lot II: Tikonko Kpetema 30.1Km, Moyoroh Junction Serabu 8.0Km) includes preliminaries (site preparation, establishment of camp sites, etc.), earthworks, pavement layers and pavement work, drainage structures, road furniture, day works and ancillary.
