The scope includes removal of the existing stopbank, new stopbank construction works, and transport of any additional material (fill) as required. We are looking to engage a supplier who can demonstrate the ability to successfully construct the stopbank and associated works and can work with GW to meet broader outcomes and health and safety requirements. We expect the successful supplier to: a) have a demonstrated track record of providing similar services, in stopbank construction b) have the capacity and capability to deliver the required scope of work before 1 June 2024 c) be committed to the welfare of its workforce, for example by ensuring all workers providing services to us meet the New Zealand Living Wage Standard d) be committed to working with our Health and Safety team to ensure all requirements are met We intend to go to market in late January 2024.
