Expression of Interest are invited for Special Economic Zones Kurdish Region of Iraq. The IFC recently signed a Cooperation Agreement for a new advisory program with the Board of Investment (BOI) in the Kurdistan Region in the Republic of Iraq (KRI). This new Advisory program will assist the BOI in KRI with attracting and facilitating new private investment in priority sectors as well as in Special Economic Zones (SEZ) infrastructure. In terms of the SEZ related activities, this program will support the KRI with the establishment of a modern and sustainable regime for the development and operation of new Special Economic Zones in KRI by the private sector.
