Pursuant To The Audit Regulation, The Council Appoints An Accountant To Be Appointed Responsible For The Activities Referred To In The Inspection Regulation. The Contract With The Current Accountant Runs Up To And Including The Audit Work Of Financial Year 2023. For The Financial Years 2024 To 2026, The Accounting Services Must To Be Contracted Out For The Audit Work. The Purpose Of The Tender Is Concluding A Written Agreement With One (1) Party For The Performance Of Accounting Services Relating To Municipal Audit Activities. The Contractor Must Relate To The Established Services/Activities And Results To Produce The Annual Accounts. In Addition To Auditing The Annual Accounts, The Municipality Can: Provide Other Assurance And/Or Consultancy Assignments Within The Agreement.
