This will be a one stage RFP process. The scope will include, but not be limited to: Construction of the playground Infrastructure services upgrade New landscape and green zone integrated with the playground New water play area New seating and shaded areas Upgraded lighting Provision of accessibility facilities Health and safety requirements Environmental delivery minimum impact on the environment Performance, functionality or technical standards to be met: NZS3910:2013 Conditions of contract for building and civil engineering construction NZS 5828:2015 Playground Equipment & Surfacing Standard Building code Mandatory requirements Health and Safety compliance Ability to meet the capability and capacity requirements Ability to manage the Specialist Contractor for The Strand Waterfront Playground - Specialised Playground Structures Supply & Installation of bespoke playground equipment component Ability to coordinate with the Lead Design Team Ability to coordinate with appointed subcontractor/s Ability to engage with stakeholders Comply and coordinate with Kiwi Rail requirements Insurance minimums of $10M for Public Liability, $5M for Professional Indemnity and $5M for Contract Works Indicative timeframes: Request for Proposal anticipated to be released 04th March 2023.
