Tenders are invited for 8th Generation of Cambodian Youth Volunteers and the Train Travel Program. LOCATION:Banteay Meanchey Province, Battambang Province, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap Province, Oddar Meanchey Province, Preah Vihear Province, Pailin Province, Tboung Khmum Province, Kratie Province, Pursat Province, Kampong Thom Province, Kampong Chhnang Province, Kampong Cham Province, Prey Veng Province, Svay Rieng Province, Stung Treng Province, Mondul Kiri Province, Ratanak Kiri Province, Kandal Province, Kep Province. This volunteer work will start on January 1, 2024, with 3 months to go for an interview. With survivors of the Khmer Rouge regime in the area where you live. After 3 months, we will recruit a large number of young people to volunteer to travel by train from Phnom Penh. Go to Battambang / Banteay Meanchey to learn and learn about the lessons of forced evacuation by the Khmer Rouge on the 17th April 1975 We will arrange other events in the carriage as well as when we leave the carriage. The program in Battambang / Banteay Meanchey lasts for 2 days, from 20 to 21 April 2024 (the 20th day departure from Phnom Penh and return to Phnom Penh on the 22nd). After this program, we will select 100 to 150 young people to participate in the international meeting program by meeting with the leadership Senior officials of the Kingdom of Cambodia, focusing on three main topics: 1) the right to life, 2) why to teach Khmer Rouge history And 3) Understand the meaning of the International Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide, adopted by United Nations in 1948. This general meeting lasted for 3 days, from 17 to 19 May 2024 and was attended by 1) 2 Cambodian volunteers ) Khmer Rouge survivors; and 3) national and international legal experts, as well as some historians.
