The tender is expected to be advertised in February 2024. The contract period will be for 3 years with an option for a further extension of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance. The contract requires suppliers to have a depot based within 15 km of the Tauranga City boundaries. New suppliers to the region will need to provide a plan for how they would establish themselves within a 3-month mobilisation period. The plan will detail how they would secure a suitable depot site and the resources needed deliver this contract. We strongly encourage all interested parties to keep a close watch on GETS in February 2024, where the tender will be advertised.
