The 2,682m2 building is owned by Te Wananga o Aotearoa and currently consists of 5 classrooms, a compliant space to sleep 80 people, a dedicated area for art programmes, a student computer lab, a large common area, a combined kitchen dining area, and the remainder is office space, ablutions, and storage. The new works includes a new interior layout maintaining a compliant space to sleep 80 people, a new commercial kitchen and cafe area, classrooms, library, student computer lab, offices, storage, replacement of the roof structure and reroofing, and upgrades to the electrical, mechanical systems and fire services.
