Expression of Interest are invited for Engagement of International Seismic Service Provider for 2D Seismic Survey over Exploration Block 6B South & 10, Bangladesh. Consulting Firm (International) (Lump-Sump) Brief Description of Assignment: Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration & Production Company Limited (BAPEX),A Company of Petrobangla, herein after called as The Client desires to carry out acquisition, processing, interpretation and resource estimation 868 Ground LKM Transitional Zone (TZ) (60) fold high resolution wider frequency bandwidth of 2D Seismic data by outsourcing using State-of the-art equipment in its Exploration Block 6B south & 10 (Southern part of Bengal Basin), constituting a total area of 13,460 SQKM (4775 SQKM in Block 6B south, 8685 SQKM in Block-10), Bangladesh. The Seismic Service Provider must be internationally reputed Geophysical Seismic Service Provider in oil and gas sector, specialized in high resolution seismic imaging to establish subsurface geological model for hydrocarbon exploration. The service provider must have dedicated Design, Acquisition, Processing, Interpretation and Resource / Reserve estimation experts. The brief job description includes Parameter Setting, Field Design, Quality Control, Data acquisition, Data Processing, Data Interpretation & Resource/Reserve estimation by means of latest Instrument, Software & Hardware used by leading International Seismic Service Provider. The assignment should be completed within October2024 immediately after signing the contract. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: The International Seismic Service Provider should have at least 10 years of experience having at least 5,000 LKM 2D seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation & resource evaluation experience per year accomplished by at least 1 project in the last 5 years . The 5,000 LKM per year must include all the aspects of acquisition, processing & interpretation. For example, if a seismic service provider has completed 3000 LKM acquisition, 1000 LKM processing & 1000 LKM comprehensive interpretation in a year will be accepted. On the other hand, if a seismic service provider has completed 4000 LKM acquisition, 1000 LKM processing will not be accepted, as the seismic service provider is lacking the experience in seismic data interpretation. The individual aspects (acquisition, processing, interpretation) must be at least 1000 LKM per year. Having Experience of 1000 LKM 2D seismic data acquisition, processing, interpretation in Transitional Zone (TZ) completed in last 5 years. Other Details (if applicable): Interested Seismic Service providers are invited to provide following information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. a) Registration of firms b) Background of the firm(s) c) General and overall 10 (ten) years experience of the firm(s) d) Summery of similar projects undertaken e) Audited financial reports of the firm for the last 5 years. f) Nature, size, location of contracts in hands g) Number of permanent professional employees with key qualifications h) Administrative strength & financial capacity (minimum annual turnover 02 million USD) i) Types of major equipments, software, hardware used, j) In case of joint venture copy of joint venture agreement.
