The Project Consists Of Renovating The Existing Bank Of The Albert Canal. The Renovation Is Located On The Left Bank, Near The Tessenderlo Group Nv Company. In The Upstream And Downstream Zone (Fixed Section 1 And Conditional Section 3), The New Bank Will Be Built On The Water Side Of The Existing Bank. The Renovation Will Be Achieved By Inserting Metal Sheet Piles, On Which A Reinforced Concrete Roof Will Be Built. The New Bank Will Be Anchored By Drilling Ground Anchors. The Existing Structures And Pile Foundations Must Be Taken Into Account. In The Middle Zone (Conditional Part 2), A Sheet Pile Wall With Grout Anchors Has Already Been Placed For The Existing Bank. Here The Existing Head Beam Is Demolished And Replaced By A New Concrete Head Beam With New Grout Anchors. The Sheet Piles Are Recoated. The Existing Structures, Pile Foundations And Grout Anchors Must Be Taken Into Account. The New Bank Will Be Equipped With Bollards, Ladders, Handles, Deck Slabs And Fenders.
