Amaila Falls Hydro Project The Government Of Guyana (Gog) Invites Revised Requests For Proposals (Rfp) Under A Build-Oivn-Operate-Transfer (Boot) Model For The Amaila Falls Hydro Project. Context: A. Generation: Generation For Gpl Will Largely Be Derived In The Future From Two Large Projects:(I) Amaila Falls Hydro Project, With A Minimum Of 165 Mw Of Generation Capacity Delivering Green Energy By 2027 And (Ii) Gas-To- Energy Project, Which Will Initially Deliver 300 Mw Of Gas-Powered Generation In 2025; At Pipeline Fidl Capacity, This Increases To 700 Mw+ Of Gas-Powered Generation. B. Transmission: The Amaila Falls Hydro Project Will Integrate And Expand The National Grid, To Include Linden. The Amaila-Linden-Georgetown Transmission Voltage Will Be 230 Kv And Connect To A National (Gpl) Control Center At Eccles.
