Following the briefing, Waka Kotahi will release early tender information, allowing potential suppliers the opportunity to plan and allocate resources as needed for the RFT period. The Paerata Roundabout and Station Access Road - Physical Works Project forms part of the NZUP South Auckland Package (SAP) investment consisting of transport network improvements, road safety improvements, urbanisation measures, public transport enhancements and active mode development. The construction of a new single-lane roundabout on SH22 (Paerata Rd) near 912 Paerata Road and the adjacent Station Access Road will provide access from SH22 to the new Paerata Railway Station and the future Grafton Downs housing development. In support of advance notice to the market, further information on the project will be provided during an industry briefing scheduled for Tuesday 12 December 2023 at 10am via Teams.
