The Shelter Admits About 250 Dogs A Year. The Average Number Of Animals Staying In The Shelter Per Month Is: Approximately 330 Dogs. The Shelter Has A Room Where Animal Inspections, Deworming And Flea Removal, As Well As Vaccinations And Microchipping Can Be Performed. However, In The Shelter There Is No Room Intended For Performing Complex Medical And Surgical Procedures Requiring Sterile Conditions, Therefore Such Procedures And Hospitalization Will Take Place At The Contractors Medical Facility.1.1 Services Provided On-Site As Needed, At Least Three Times A Week At Hours Agreed Upon By An Authorized Employee Of The Ordering Party, Not Less Than Two Hours A Day Consisting. On: 1) Anti-Rabies Vaccination 2) Castration Of Males 3) Sterilization Of Females 4) Euthanasia, Euthanasia Of The Blind Litter 5) Autopsy 6) Inspection Of The Dogs Health Condition At Least Three Times A Week On Working Days, Transportation Will Be Provided By The Contractor At Its Expense During The Shelters Opening Hours And During Special Cases Upon Request, 7) External Deworming, 8) Internal Deworming, 9) Vaccination Against Infectious Diseases, 10) Observation Of Dogs Suspected Of Rabies, 11) Performance Of Activities Provided For By Law In Relation To Animals Staying In A Shelter Suffering From An Infectious Disease, 12) Inspection Of Dead Animals ,13) Performing Surgical Procedures Necessary To Save The Life And Health Of Animals,14) Conservative Treatment,15) Conducting Training For Employees In Animal Care At Least Once A Year,16) Supervising Extraordinary Interventions Related To Trapping Stray Animals That Pose A Threat To Public Safety Or Requiring Emergency Veterinary Assistance At The Request Of An Employee,17) Keeping Medical Records Of Dogs And Keeping Current Entries In Animal Records,18) Assistance In Creating And Updating Internal Procedures Of The Shelter,19) Issuing, Settling And Supervising The Correct Dispensing Of Medications, Including Sedatives In The Case Of Using A Veterinary Applicator,20) Other Activities, E.G. Issuing Passports Necessary For Adoptions Abroad.
