Dam Storevatn Is Located In Gjesdal Municipality. It Is A Concrete Dam That Was Built In 1959. It Is To Be Rebuilt To Meet The Current Requirements In The Dam Safety Regulations Regarding Dam Type, Drainage Capacity And Overtopping In The Event Of A Design Flood. The Measures Are Mainly: Conversion To Massive Pond With Drainage Gallery. Bolts In The Massive Dams North And South New Tap Run At The Overflow With A Center Approx. 8.3 M Below The Hrv, With A Valve House Of Approx. 80 M2 Removal Of Footbridges And Pillars Over Spillways. Raising The Parapet And Some Repairs To The Dam Side. Access Road To Dam South The Work On The Dam Itself And The Valve Housing Can Be Carried Out Without Draining. Passage Into The Dam Wall For Tap Run, Approx. 10 M Below The Hrv Must Be Done With Drained Tank. The Work Is Divided Into 2 Seasons Due To Noise Concerns For Red-Listed Species. The Order Of The Work In These Seasons Depends On Whether The Level In Other Drinking Water Reservoirs Is Sufficient In Terms Of Readiness For The Water Supply. The Work Is Carried Out And Controlled In Accordance With Nves Regulations. The Work Is At A Drinking Water Reservoir And There Are Very Strict Restrictions On Work That Can Cause Pollution.
