Pursuant To The State Purchasing Act (Official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Quotes ( Erfq ) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With One Or More Qualified Suppliers Who Will Provide Vending Machines And Related Vending Equipment To The Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (Hereinafter, The State Entity Or Gvra ) As Further Described In This Erfq. Gvra, On Behalf Of Its Business Enterprise Program ( Bep ) Is Soliciting Non-Exclusive Proposals For Vendors To Furnish New Automatic Vending Equipment For The Dispensing Of Food Products, Hot And Cold Non-Alcoholic Beverages, And Other Useful Products. Gvra Is Committed To Utilizing Purchasing And Business Practices In Accordance With The State Of Georgia Procurement Manual. The Primary Goals And Objectives Of The Vending Machines And Related Vending Equipment Rfq Are To: (1) Assist Gvra To Obtain The Absolute Lowest Cost And Best Value. (2) Establish A Strategic Sourcing Partnership With Selected Providers, Manufacturer(S) Or Authorized Dealers. Gvra Anticipates Significant Purchases To Be Recorded Against A Potential Agreement(S). The Business Enterprise Program At Gvra Currently Has More Than 219 Clients, Comprised Of Roughly 50% Vending Facilities ,20% Of Micro Mart And Cafeterias And 30% Of Coffee Shops, Lottery And Others.
