The Use Of 3D Mapping Tools And Software Allows For Complex Premises To Be Scanned And An Electronic Model Created Which Will Support Current Risk Information And Tactical Planning Documents Which Include Photographic Pictures, Floor Plans, And Geographical Mapping Imagery. There Is An Opportunity To Create 3D Maps As Well As A Walkthrough Function.The Key Benefits Kfrs Are Seeking To Achieve Are:Improved Ssri Product With More Detail And 3D Spatial Mapping Of Risk Sitesimproved Understanding Of Risk Information Within Kent And Cross Border Enhanced Materials For On Station Training And Preparedness Around Ssri Sites With Technology Enhanced Learning Enhanced Information Available During An Operational Incident Through Mdt And Officer Remote Support- For Incidents At Ssri Sitesreduced Requirement For Operational Response To Conduct On Site Visits Of Ssri Locations. Ability To Share 3D Risk Information Of Kent Risk Sites To Cross Border Frs The Authority Have Undertaken A Review Of The Market And Have Identified A Solution Which Has The Potential To Achieve The Required Benefit Objectives And As Such The Pilot Will Be Scheduled To Take Place Early In The New Year.
