Tenders are invited for Provision of cleaning Services in Kenya Meteorological (KMD) Head­quarters, Institute of Meteorological Training & Research (IMTR) and (KMD) Outstations Interested eligible candidates may obtain tender documents from State Department for Environment & Climate Change , Ragati Road, NHIF Building, 11th floor, Supply Chain Management Office room 1104 during normal working hours (8.00 am to 5.00pm, Monday-Friday, with exemption of public holidays) upon payment of non-refundable fee of Ksh 1000 payable in cash or Bankers cheque to the Principal Secretary State Department for Environment & Climate Change or download the document free of charge from Ministry website: www.environment.go.ke , www.meteo.go.ke or http://supplier.treasury.go.ke and www.tenders.go.ke. In case the doc­uments are downloaded, bidders must inform the State Department for Environment and climate Change, Supply Chain Management Services immediately for recording purpose through the following email address; Complete tender documents (Original and a copy) enclosed in plain sealed outer envelope clearly marked with tender name and tender number should be deposited in the Tender Box located at State Department for Environ­ment and Climate Change, Ragati Road, NHIF Building, 11th floor and be addressed to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Environment & Climate Change, P.O. Box 30126-00100 Nairobi, Kenya, so as to be received on or before Wednesday, 6th December, 2023 at 10.00 a.m. East African time. Tender must be accompanied by a tender security of Kenya Shillings One Hundred Thousand (Ksh.100,000.00) for Tender no. SDE&CC/KMD/OT/003/2023 -2024 from reputable bank or an insurance company approved by Public Procurement Regulatory Authority payable to the Principal Secretary, State Department for Environment and climate Change, P.O. Box 30126, 00100 Nairobi, Kenya. Failure to attach the Tender Security will lead to automatic rejection of the tender. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at State Department for Environment and Climate Change board­room, Ragati Road, NHIF Building, 12th floor in the presence of candidates or their representatives who choose to attend.
