Environmental Services - Communication And Registration Of Aquatic Invasive Species (Fraia). In 2018-2019, The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Carried Out A Pilot Project Whose Purpose Was To Investigate Whether Environmental Dna (Edna) Could Be Used As Part Of Monitoring And Further Management Of Invasive Species In Denmark. As Part Of The Project, High School Classes Were Involved To Monitor Marine Native And Non-Native Species Using Edna, Which Was Collected Via Water Samples From Areas Distributed Throughout The Country. The Water Samples Was Analyzed In A Laboratory And The Upper Secondary School Classes Received Both Teaching In This Connection About Invasive Species And An Introduction To Research. Based On The Results From Pilot Project, The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Continued The Project From Spring 2020 Until The End 2022. The Danish Environmental Protection Agency Now Wants To Extend The Project. The Project Is Divided Into 4 Main Parts Deliverables: Collection And Analysis Of Data Using Edna Information Annual Report And Delivery Of Data Final Report The Entire Task Is Described In More Detail In The Tender Documents.
