Dec 2023 Intervention Sector(s): Social & Cultural Development ABOUT INJAZ LEBANON INJAZ Lebanon is a non-profit organization, an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. It is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region. INJAZ Lebanon delivers programs in partnership with the business sector focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness, and financial literacy. Overview INJAZ Lebanon is seeking an experienced Gardening Trainer to conduct engaging workshops in the North of Lebanon. The training program is designed for young individuals aged between 17 and 28, spanning 8 days with a total of 12 hours, and is open to both those with prior knowledge of gardening and beginners. The workshops will be hosted at the recently designated public park in Al Mina - North Lebanon, covering multiple fields. Objectives The objective of the gardening training is to empower young individuals aged between 17 and 28 by providing comprehensive gardening training suitable for both those with prior knowledge and beginners. The training aims to contribute to skill development through engaging workshops, offering participants a sense of accomplishment and competence in the field of gardening. The utilization of the recently designated public park in Al Minaa - North Lebanon, as a dedicated space for gardening training, ensures an optimal environment for enhancing gardening skills. Scope of Work Duration and Schedule: The training program will span 8 days. Each workshop day will consist of 1.5 hours, resulting in a total of 12 training hours. The Gardening Trainer is expected to cover a diverse curriculum, including: Fundamentals of gardening for beginners. Advanced gardening techniques. Plant selection, cultivation, and maintenance. Sustainable and eco-friendly gardening practices. Hands-on practical sessions and interactive learning activities. Past projects Relevant Experience Attach copies of any recognized certifications in career services or related fields. The financial proposal should include your hourly rate, inclusive of all costs.
