Legionella - Remove Dead Legs And Address Other Misc Items . Scope Of Work/Overview:1.Work Of This Contract Comprises Of Various Domestic Water System Upgrades To Reduce Or Eliminate The Possibility Of Legionella Growth In The System At The Joseph R. Smallwood Building, As Further Described Below And As Shown On The Tender Documents.2.Remove Dead Legs From The Domestic Water System Where Indicated And Re-Insulate Affected Areas.3.Insulate Or Repair Insulation On Various Sections Of Domestic Water Piping Where Indicated. Provided Jacketing To Match Existing Where Piping Is Exposed.4.Extend And Provide New Hot Water Recirculation Loops Where Indicated. Replace Existing Recirculation Pumps Where Indicated And Provide Pump Status Monitoring To Existing Emcs.5.Install Thermostatic Balancing Valves On Hot Water Recirculation Loops To Allow Proper Temperature To Be Maintained In The Domestic Hot Water System.6.Provide A Hypochlorite Dosing System Composed Of A Metering Pump, Solution Tank, And Accessories Connected To The Water Entrance To Allow Shock Dosing Of The Domestic Water System When Required.7.Provide Discharge Water Temperature Sensors Tied To Existing Emcs For Temperature Monitoring At All Hot Water Tanks.
