Tenders are invited for Supply and Installation of Office Furniture. The proposed sector development program (SDP) will support the efforts of the Kingdom of Cambodia to provide universal access to improved water supply and sanitation services and achieve safe hygiene behavior in rural areas by 20251 and that at least 50% of rural population have access to safely managed water supply and sanitation2 facilities by 2030. 3 The SDP comprises (i) a project, financed by a loan and grant, to expand rural water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities in at least 400 villages across 9 provinces;4 and (ii) a single tranche policy-based loan to support governance, institutional and regulatory framework improvements aimed at ensuring climate change considerations during WASH planning, designing and implementation; improving the sustainability of facilities; strengthening private sector involvement and ensuring an affordable and inclusive WASH deliveries. Contracts will only be negotiated, awarded, and signed after the effectiveness of the financing agreements. The borrower, executing agency, and implementing agency have been advised that approval of advance contracting does not commit ADB to finance the project. Advertisement for works, goods, and consulting services packages for advance contracting is expected starting December 2023.
