Tenders Are Invited For Multi-Sector Needs Assessment

Tenders are invited for Multi-sector needs assessment PUI decided in 2017 to launch an exploratory mission to Niger. Today, the NGO has a coordination office in Niamey as well as two operational bases in Ouallam and Torodi (Tillaberi region) and an operational base in Maradi. The Torodi and Ouallam bases were opened in 2018 and that of Maradi in May 2022. Première Urgence Internationales actions in Niger aim to improve access to quality health services for vulnerable populations through the adoption of three strategies, in particular: (i) Institutional support which consists of strengthening the health system, (ii) Health promotion, preventive malnutrition and WASH activities at the community level, (iii) Deployment of mobile teams in villages located more than 15km from the CSIs and also provide emergency assistance in the framework of the RRM. Première Urgence Internationales sector of intervention in Niger remains health (primary health care and secondary health care) with transversal support in nutrition, WASH and MHPSS. PUI wishes to strengthen its integrated intervention approach in Niger by including food security and livelihoods in order to support the nutritional security approach developed on the mission. Beyond developing new sectors, PUI would also like to extend its intervention to the Tahoua region.
