Object Of The Procurement The Object Of The Procurement Is The Acquisition Of The Contents Of The E-Library By Domestic Customers In The Case Of E- And Audio Books, As Defined In The Tender Request And Its Appendices. Domestic E-Books And Audio Books Are Those Published In Finland For Adults And Children And Youth Fiction As Well As Adult And Childrens And Youth Literature Published In Finland Nonfiction. In Small Quantities, Including The Options During The Entire Framework Contract Period Falling Below The Eu Threshold Value According To Section 26, Subsection 1, Point 2 Of The Procurement Act (2016/1397), The Acquisition Target Also Includes E- And Audio Books In Finnish That Have Been Published Elsewhere Than In Finland. Acts As Procurement Unit And Ordering Party Of This Contract The City Of Helsinki Until The End Of The Procurement Procedure. 1.1.2024 Responsibility For The E-Library Service Will Be Transferred To The National Library And The Materials And Services Acquired Here Will Be Transferred In Spring 2024 To The National Library. The Object Of The Procurement Is Described In More Detail In The Request For Tender And In Its Appendices, Especially In The Appendix Description Of The Object Of Procurement. Contract Period The Contract Period Is Two (2) Years. The Procurement Unit Has The Right To Extend The Validity Of The Contract For A Maximum Of Two Option Periods Of A Maximum Of One Year.
