Tenders are invited for Repairs and Maintenance Works to Port Infrastructure. The Mauritius Ports Authorityis inviting proposals from local contractors to participate in a Framework Agreement for Repairs and Maintenance Works to Port Infrastructurethrough the Government e-Procurement System, as more fully described in the bidding document. Qualifications Applications will only be considered from contractors who are duly registered with the CIDB, at the time of submission of proposal, under the grades indicated hereunder: 1. GradeA+ to G (i.e. Large to Medium II grading designation) in Building Construction Works or in Civil Engineering Construction Works;and 2. Other qualifying criteria as mentioned in the bidding document. Clarification Meeting Bidders or their designated representatives are invited to attend a clarification meeting on Thursday 23 November 2023 at 10.00 hours. The meeting place is the Conference Room of the Mauritius Ports Authority at Ground Floor, H. Ramnarain Building, Mer Rouge, Port Louis. Submission of Proposals Bidding documents may be downloaded from the Government e-Procurement System https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org. Reference Number on the system: MPA/IFB/2023/176. Proposals for the above must be submitted online on the e-Procurement System at latest by Wednesday 20 December 2023 at 15.00 hours. Bidders who have submitted proposals online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their proposals from Wednesday 20 December 2023 as from 16.01 hours up to Thursday 21 December 2023 at 14.00 hours. Proposalswill be opened online at the Mauritius Ports Authority on Thursday 21 December 2023 as from 14.05 hours inthe presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. The Mauritius Ports Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, to annul the bidding process and to reject all proposals at any time prior to award of the Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to any bidder. Registration of bidders on the e-Procurement System All potential bidders are kindly requested to register their companies on the e-Procurement System, as registration is mandatory for a supplier to submit a bid online. You may wish to refer to the manual and video available on the How to? menu of the e-PS website for information about registration. Furthermore, it is mandatory for bidders to use a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for encryption/decryption of their bid data and for digital signing of bids. In order to initiate suppliers on e-PS, the Procurement Policy Office organizes regular training sessions on the e-Procurement System. These training sessions are usually held at the Procurement Policy Office, 8th Floor, E. Anquetil Building, Port Louis, Mauritius, over 2 half days and include a theoretical / demonstration component on the first day followed by a practical session on the second day.
