General Procurement Notice for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Cocoa Processing Equipment for the Toledo Cacao Growers Association The Toledo Cacao Growers Association (TGCA) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to USD515,727 towards the cost of "Increasing Participation of the Belizean Cacao Industry in the Cocoa-Chocolate Global Value Chain" Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract. Payment by CDB will be made only at the request of TGCA and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement. The Grant Agreement prohibits a withdrawal from the Loan Account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than GOGR shall derive any rights from the Grant Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Grant. The TGCA is the Executing Agency for the Project and intends to invite sealed bids from eligible and qualified bids for the Procurement for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Cocoa Processing Equipment for the Toledo Cacao Growers Association. The bidding process is conducted according to the procedures specified in the Procurement Procedures for Projects Financed by CDB (January 2021), as published on CDBs website and is open to all bidders from eligible countries.
