From September 2022, The Flying Start Programme Will Be Expanded To Reach Up To 2,500 More Children Aged 0 To 4 By Increasing The Flying Start Target Areas In Every Local Authority In Wales. To Meet This Target, Newport City Council Is Expanding The Flying Start Childcare Provision In Newport With A Particular Emphasis On Strengthening Welsh-Medium Provision. The Council Are Seeking To Develop An Approved List Of Childcare Providers In Newport Which Will Operate From 1 January 2024 Until 31 March 2025.
