The Main Goal Of The Project Optimal Design For Rechargeable And Recyclable, Alkaline Zn-Mno2 Batteries As Flexible Energy Storage (Orrcabatt) Is The Development A Rechargeable Alkaline Zn-Mno2 Battery (Zmb) For Stationary Storage Applications. Key Objectives Include Material Selection Based On Sustainability And Costs, A Deeper Understanding Of The Physical-Chemical Properties Of The Battery, Ensuring The Scalability Of The Production Process, Implementation Of The Developed Batteries In Real Application Scenarios Such As Stationary Energy Storage In Combination With Photovoltaics And A Strong Focus On Recycling And Circular Economy, To Ensure The Sustainability Of The Battery Production Process. A Central One Strategy For The Success Of The Project Revolves Around The Use Of Additive Manufacturing Systems Based On 3D Printing Technologies, In Particular Laser Metal Fusion (Lmf). The Use Of Lmf Is Crucial For: The Manufacture Of Metallic Pantographs With Complex Shapes, For Example Based On Ni, Cu Alloys. The Production Various Metallic Forms/Tools For Applying The Active Materials The Current Collector. The Production Of Cell Components, Such As Housings And Springs, For Implementing The New Aem Electrode Assembly Into The Various Of Zsw Prototypes. The Production Of Unconventional Cell Designs And Other Components For Use With The In-Situ And In-Operando Analysis Tools. The Integration Lmf 3D Printing Technology Will Be Critical To Moving Quickly Through Prototyping And Testing Phases To Advance, Making It Feasible Within The Three Year Period Achieve A Technology Readiness Level (Trl) Of 6 Or 7 Within The Project Time Frame. This Will Also Ensure That The Project Remains On Track To Achieve Its Ambitious Goals To Be Fulfilled Within The Specified Period.
