The Four Sites Will Be Tendered In Two Lots. Giz Has The Right To Award Just One Or Both Lots To A Single Contractor. The Project Improving Access To Basic Social Services For Internally Displaced Persons (Idps) And The Local Population In Central Host Regions In Yemen (Idp Project) Has Been Commissioned By The German Ministry For Economic Cooperation And Development (Bmz) To Improve Access To Health, Water, Sanitation And Hygiene (Wash), And Other Basic Social Services For Internally Displaced Persons And The Local Population In Host Communities, Considering Disadvantaged Persons Needs. The Implementation Takes Place In The Northwestern Governorates Of Hajjah, Al-Hodeidah, Ibb, And The West And Southern Governorates Of Taiz And Aden . The Project Contributes To Strengthening The Resilience Of The Target Group And Promotes The Capacities Of Civil Society Organizations And Local Administration In The Maintenance Of Basic Services. The Five Fields Of Action Include Measures To Secure And Support (1) Health Care , (2) Water, Sanitation, And Hygiene , (3) Psycho-Social Support And Participation Of Disadvantageous Per-Sons, (4) Technical Equipment In The Context Of The Covid-19 Emergency Measures And (5) Technical-Methodological Capacity Development Of Local Civil Society Partners. The Project Activities Will Be Selected, Planned, And Implemented By The Local Administration And Local Non-Governmental Organizations(Lngos). In Addition, The Objective Is To Make Basic Social Services Such As Garbage Collection, Childcare, And Supporting Youth Activities And Poor Sections Of The Vulnerable Population.
