The NSAs are for material supply of the following product categories: Stoves and Rangehoods Heat Pumps Carpet & Underlay Curtains and Curtain Rods Ventilation Electrical Supplies Building Supplies Plumbing Supplies Vinyl Floor Covering Paint Roofing Steel Solid Fuel Fires Products and materials covered by the NSAs are required to be used as part of the Kinga Ora maintenance programme. They can also be accessed by anyone building on behalf of Kinga Ora. These agreements were due to expire on 30 June 2024. Kinga Ora wishes to inform the market that it has made a commercial decision to extend the current NSAs by nine months, while it undertakes a programme of work to identify future supply requirements and improvement opportunities. This means the existing NSAs will now expire on 31 March 2025. Kinga Ora is trialling new and innovative ways to work with its suppliers, to meet the ever-changing and ever-growing housing needs in Aotearoa New Zealand. Kinga Ora is working with its teams and the market to identify efficiencies, reduce cost and improve outcomes for its customers, suppliers, partners and the wider sector. This process is still in the early stages and continues to evolve. The NSA extension enables Kinga Ora to continue current supply arrangements in the interim, while minimising disruption to its maintenance and build activity.
