Flood Risk Assessment And Management Of The Tenerife Hydrographic Demarcation Of The Third Cycle (2027-2033). The Preparation Of The Advance Of The Special Defense Plan Against Avenida De Tenerife (Pda) In August 2005 By The Tenerife Island Water Council, Represented An Important Boost In The Study Of The Risk Of Floods On The Island Of Tenerife. The Pda Addressed The Analysis And Diagnosis Of Flood Risk On The Island And Proposed A Series Of Actions In Specific Sections And Locations. To This End, The Causes Of The Risk Were Identified And Described, Establishing Their Quantitative And Qualitative Assessment. Likewise, The Pda Proposed Standards, Guidelines For Action And Types Of Corrective, Structural, Non-Structural, Informative And Emergency Measures. From The Pda, Emerges The Inventory Of Verified Hydraulic Risk Records Of The Island Of Tenerife, Which Has Been Incorporated Into The Successive Hydrological Plans Of The Demarcation. This Inventory Of Hydraulic Risk Records Served As The Basis For The Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (Epri) Of The 1St Cycle (2015-2021) And Therefore For The Preparation Of The Special Flood Risk Management Plan For The Hydrographic Demarcation Of Tenerife (Approved Definitively By Decree 129/2020, Of December 18). The Second Flood Planning Cycle, 20212027, Maintained The Arpsis Identified In The Previous Cycle, Beginning To Incorporate The Pluvial Origin Of The Fluvial-Pluvial Arpsis. Regarding The Inventory Of Hydraulic Risk Records, It Has Not Been Updated Since Its Identification In The Work Of The Pda.
