The Wadden Sea Radar Installations Are Used For The Brandaris Vts Traffic Center In The Terschelling Area And The Schiermonnikoog Maritime Traffic Post. The Images From The Radar Installations Of Terschelling And Schiermonnikoog Are Also Used By The Coast Guard To Carry Out Search And Rescue (Sar) And Enforcement Tasks. The Radar Installations For The Wijk Bij Duurstede Traffic Post Are Used For Traffic Guidance From The Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. The Primary Purpose Of These Installations Is To Guide Shipping Traffic Smoothly And Safely Across The Wadden Sea And The Tidal Inlets And The Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. The Coast Guard Also Uses These Radar Images For Their Business Operations. The Aim Of This Project Is To Supply The Nautical Sensors For The 1-On-1 Replacement Of The Current Radar Installations That Are Now End Of Life In See Information Plots.
