Piloting Exploration And Recovery For The Immediate Program For Contaminated Ammunition Sites In The North And Baltic Seas. The Federal Republic Of Germany (Client), Represented By The Federal Ministry For The Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety And Consumer Protection (Bmuv), Intends To Award A Contract For The Provision Of Exploration And Recovery Services In The Bmuv Immediate Program Ammunition Contaminated Sites In The North And Baltic Seas . As Part Of The Immediate Program, The Feasibility Of Safe, Efficient And Environmentally Friendly Recovery And Disposal Of Old Munitions In Munitions Dumping Areas In The Baltic Sea Is To Be Demonstrated. Tried-And-Tested Technologies From Marine Technology, Process And Process Engineering, Explosive Ordnance Disposal As Well As Solution Approaches Developed In Recent Years With A High Level Of Technological Maturity Are Used. The Knowledge Gained Serves As A Prerequisite For The Federal And State Governments To Systematically Begin The Industrial Disposal Of Contaminated Sites In German Maritime Areas. This Means That Scalability And Transferability Of The Results Should Also Be Taken Into Account For Application Under Environmental Conditions In The North Sea. The Immediate Program For Contaminated Munitions In The North And Baltic Seas Currently Provides For Two Stages: Stage 1 - Piloting: Tests For The Recovery Of Ammunition With Currently Available Technologies, Stage 2 - Development And Construction Of A Facility For The Disposal Of Contaminated Sites On An Industrial Scale. Both Stages Will Be Advertised In Separate Procurement Procedures. The Award Procedure In Question Concerns Level 1.
