Leka Municipality Invites An Open Tender For The Delivery Of A Turnkey Contract For The Rebuilding And Upgrading Of The Existing Fire Station In Leka. Leka Fire Station Was Originally Built As A Warehouse, Offices Etc. For Nte Around 1981 And In Later Years Has Been Used As A Fire Station And Base For The Technical Department In Leka Municipality. The Building Is Constructed With A Support System Of Concrete Columns And Beams, External Walls As A Combination Of Brick And Wooden Walls With Steel Plate Cladding And A Roof Structure With Steel Beams, Insulated And Clad Externally With Steel Plates. There Will Be A Significant Remodel Inside With The Creation Of Changing Rooms, Laundry Rooms Etc. To Satisfy Requirements For Clean And Unclean Zones. Meeting Rooms, Break Rooms, Toilets Etc. Will Also Be Established. The Existing Garage Will Be Used As A Staging Area And Laundry Hall. A New Gate To The Carriage Hall Will Be Established. Facades And Roofs Will Be Kept As They Are Today, With The Exception Of New Windows, Gates And Doors, As Well As Some Adaptation Around New Gates And Windows That Will Be Removed. The Upgrade Must Result In Compliance With Requirements In Regulations On The Design And Arrangement Of Workplaces And Work Premises, The Working Environment Act And Regulations On Systematic Health, Environmental And Safety Work.
