The Metallography Laboratory To Be Offered Should Be A Turnkey Testing Laboratory In The Form Of An Indoor Container Solution With Integrated Extraction. The Container Should Have A Corrosion-Resistant And Easy-To-Clean Surface And Have External Dimensions Of At Least 4.8 M X 3.1 M (Length X Width). The Container Should Also Have A Lockable Access Door And A Window. The Necessary Laboratory Equipment Is Listed In Table 1. In Addition To These Devices, The Interior Of The Laboratory Should Have A Work Surface For Device And Sample Preparation, A Sink For Cleaning The Grinding And Polishing Disks, A Washing Station For Cleaning The Samples, A Separate Lye And Acid Cabinet, And A Pharmacy Hood For Etching Of The Samples And Have Suitable Storage Options For The Samples And Material Storage. The Laboratory Items Must Be Made Of Corrosion-Resistant And Easy-To-Clean Material Such As: B. Aluminum Or Stainless Steel. To Illustrate The Test Results, A Television/Screen Of A Suitable Size (At Least 50 Inches) Should Be Mounted On The Outside Of The Container So That The Test Results Can Also Be Visibly Communicated To Larger Groups. In Order To Allow Flexibility In The Number Of Laboratory Tests, It Should Be Possible Be To Subsequently Upgrade The Sample Preparation Equipment And In Particular The Grinding And Polishing Equipment With Automatic Sample Processing.
