Tenders Are Invited For Assessing And Maximizing Socioeconomic Benefits Triggered By Renewables In Uzbekistan The Assignment Will Consist Primarily Two Tasks: (I) Conduct An Analysis Of The Domestic Value Chain For Re Program/Project Relevant Renewable Technologies (Primarily Solar Pv And Onshore Wind). The Value Chain Analysis Needs To Include A Clear Mapping Of Constraints And Opportunities For The Skill Levels Of The Domestic Workforce And Consider WomenS Employment And Skills Development Across Skilled And Non-Skilled Jobs (With In Re Companies And At The Community Level). Where Applicable; It Shall Also Consider The Synergies With The Non-Re Local Industries And Opportunities For A Just Transition From Fossil Fuels To Re; And (Ii) Develop A Socio-Economic Roadmap With Implementable Recommendations On How To Maximize Domestic Employment And Socio-Economic Benefits Of The Re Projects. The Action Plan Shall Consider The Specific Needs And Culture Of The Local Communities With A Cross-Cutting Focus On Gender Equality And Social Inclusion; Highlighting Opportunities To Engage Disadvantaged And/Or Socially Excluded Wherever Possible.
