Ii.1.5)Short Description Of The Contract Or Purchase(S): The Subject Of The Order Is An Airmobile Weapons Carrier (Luwa) As A Successor To The Wiesel 1 Weapons Carrier, Which Will Maintain And Expand The Capabilities Of The Bundeswehrs Airborne Forces. The Expected End Of The Wiesel 1S Service Life Is The End Of 2030. The Inclusion Of A Machine Cannon 25Mm (Mk) And Anti-Tank Weapon System (Pzabw), High Mobility In The Terrain With A Moderate Level Of Protection And The Air Transport Capability As An Internal Load In And External Load On The Heavy Transport Helicopter (Sth) Are The Core Requirements Of Luwa And Determine The Design. The Luwa Must Have A Modular Design, Consisting Of A Uniform Chassis And The Mk Weapon System, Pzabw Weapon System And Driving School Cabin Modules. The Roof Plate Must Act As An Interface. The Subject Of The Order Includes Development And Series Production. Three Pre-Series Vehicles (One Variant Mk, Pzabw And Driving School) Including Five Mk Weapon Systems Are To Be Developed And Qualified As Part Of The Integrated Verification Process. The Development Portion Includes The Development-Accompanying Process, Which Is Defined By Design Reviews (Milestones). Corresponding Concepts Are Required By The Contractor And Finalized Up To The Critical Design Review (Cdr). The Construction Of The Pre-Series Vehicles For Integrated Verification Then Begins. Successful Qualification Is The Prerequisite For Series Approval. Once The Verification Has Been Completed And The Series Design Status Has Been Determined, The Pre-Series Vehicles Must Be Repaired And Brought Up To The Standard Of The Series. A Total Of 56 Luwa Of The Mk Variant, 24 Luwa Of The Pzabw Variant And 9 Luwa Of The Driving School Variant Are To Be Manufactured And Delivered. A 25 Mm Machine Cannon And The Dlbo Radio Equipment Are Provided By The Client. In Addition, The Contractor Must Create Training Materials For Repairs, Driving School, Weapons And Duel Simulator Training Equipment (Agdus) And Carry Out Initial Training. The Logistics Of The Vehicles Must Be Prepared As Part Of The Integrated Logistic Support (Ils) Process. The Following Key Design Requirements Apply To The Luwa: The Contractor Must Ensure A Total Useful Life Of At Least 20 Years From The Delivery Of The First Series Vehicle. For Transport In The Sth, The Luwa Must Have A Maximum Vehicle Length Of 4200 Mm, A Maximum Height Of 1870 Mm And A Maximum Width Of 1900 Mm. The Luwa Must Have A Combat Mass Of A Maximum Of 4.5 T And A Permissible Total Mass Of At Least 5 T. The Luwa Must Have A Specific Ground Pressure Of < 5 N/Cm For High Mobility In The Terrain. The Luwa Must Reach A Continuous Speed Of 90 Km/H On Flat Roads. The Luwa Must Have Defined Protection For The Vehicle Crew Against Projectiles And Mines In Accordance With Stanag 4569.
