Prior Information Notice For German-Colombian Training And Demonstration Project For Agroecology - Agro-Ecolombia (Provisional Project Title). A Training And Demonstration Project That Tests And Validates Innovative Agroecological Approaches And Whose Results Contribute To The Further Development Of The Agricultural Extension System. The Project Also Aims To Strengthen The Framework Conditions And Knowledge Networks Necessary For Dissemination. The Political Partners Are The Bmel And The Ministry Of Agriculture And Rural Development Of Colombia (Madr). The Operational Project Partner In Col Is The National Agricultural Research Institute (Agrosavia). Result 1 Promotes Innovative Agroecological Cultivation And Marketing Approaches With Regard To Their Impact On Food Security And The Socio-Economic Situation Of Marginalized And Vulnerable Groups As Well As Their Impact On Biodiversity And Climate In Selected Agrosavia Research Centers. To This End, Participatory Demonstration And Experimental Projects For Testing, Validation Or Further Dissemination Are Supported. Result 2 Aims To Disseminate The Results From Result 1 Through The Training Of Trainers (Tot) Of Agricultural Advisors Or Their Trainers From State Institutions Such As Adr, Urt And Sena. In Result 3, The Experiences Gained At The Local Level (Results 1+2) Are Used To Advise The Madr And Other Government, Civil Society And Other Actors At The National Level On The Implementation Of The National Agroecology Policy. In Order To Strengthen Knowledge Networks For The Dissemination Of Agroecological Approaches, Bilateral Dialogue With German Partners (Bmel And Subordinate Institutes Such As Juliusk hninstitut, Th neninstitut And Other Research Institutions) As Well As With International Networks On The Subject Of Agroecology Is Promoted. The Project Location Is Mosquera And Bogot . A Six-Month Introductory Phase Is Planned. Target Groups Are (I) Marginalized Small-Scale Farmers Including Indigenous Groups, Women And Young People In Rural Areas; (Ii) Advisors To Agricultural Businesses (Iii) Political Leaders And Decision-Makers In The Madr And Other Colombian Ministries And Institutions The Award Is Based, Among Other Things, On A Detailed Technical And Financial Offer, Including A Personnel Concept. The Latter Is Expected To Include: 1 Team Leader (220 Fkt/Year) With A University Degree In Agricultural Sciences (Or Similar) With Several Years Of Management Experience In International Collaboration, With Methodological Experience In Policy Advice And Public. Strategy Development As Well As Specific Knowledge In The Field Of Agroecology Or Organic Farming And Very Good Knowledge Of Spanish And English. German Language Skills, Work Experience In Latin America (Especially Colombia), And Specific Experience In Working With Various Stakeholders Are Rated Positively. Sectors (Including Agricultural Research Institutions, Ngos), Well-Founded Experience In The Preparation Of Agricultural-Specific Studies And Advisory Products As Well As Knowledge Of Socially And Ecologically Relevant Issues And The Topic Of Gender Equality. 1 Specialist (220 Fkt/Year) With A University Degree In Agricultural Sciences (Or Similar) And Several Years Of Experience In Or In Collaboration With Relevant Agricultural Research Institutions In Col (Or Latin America) With Very Good Spanish And At Least Good Knowledge Of English Or German. Knowledge Of Structures And Methods Of International Cooperation As Well As In The Area Of Agroecology And Organic Farming, And Knowledge Of M&E Systems Are Rated Positively. 1 Communications Specialist For Public Relations And Assistant Work (Full-Time) With Several Years Of Experience In Office Organization And Public Relations.
