Aerodrome Control Services At Auckland International Airport Are Provided From A Physical Control Tower. Air Traffic Controllers Visually Observe Aircraft, Vehicles, And Personnel From The Control Tower, Supported By Surveillance Tools Such As Radar And Closed-Circuit Television. Airways Proposes The Installation And Commissioning Of A New Digital Contingency Tower At Auckland Airport. This Will Provide Greater Resilience To The Aerodrome Control Service At Auckland Airport And A More Seamless Service To Auckland International Airport And Airspace Users Once Deployed Into Operation.
