As Part Of Our Carbon Reduction Plan, We Recently Completed An Electric Vehicle (Ev) Utilisation And Transition Assessment And Have Identified An Opportunity To Replace 68 Internal Combustion Engine (Ice) Vehicles With Leased EvS. The University Requires Delivery Of 68 EvS On A 45-Month Contract Provided Over 2 Tranches (44 In December 2023 And 24 In March 2024). The 68 Ice Vehicles Currently Owned By The University Are To Be Removed And Sold On Behalf Of The University. All New Vehicles Are Required To Come Installed With A Gps And Telematics Logging Device That Can Either: Be Incorporated Into Our Existing Fleet Management System (Smartrak); Or Be Easily Adopted Into Our Remaining Fleet To Replace The Existing Fleet Management System.
