Saint Boniface Museum Roof Restoration Project - Phase 1 . D2. Scope Of Workd2.1 The Work To Be Done Under The Contract Shall Consist Of The Restoration To The Roof, Including Repairs To Its Substrate, Restoration To Dormers And Bell Tower Base As Specified And Identified In The Construction Documents For Saint-Boniface Museum, 494 TachÉ Avenue.D2.2 The Funds Available For This Contract Are $ 228,000.00 (Mrst Included, Gst Extra)D2.3 The Major Components Of The Work Are As Follows:(A) Re-Shingling Of The South Roof Slope Of The Museum&Rsquo;S Building Section.(B) Repairs To Roof Substrate (I.E. Insulation Layer, Wood Furring, And Particle Board Layers) Located Between The Roof Shingles And The Original Roof Boards. These Include The Main South Roof Slope Of The Museum Section And The Main Roof Slopes Adjacent To Each Of The Ten (10) Dormer Windows.(C) Installation Of New Cedar Ridge Boards To All Roof Ridges With The Exception Of (D) And (E).(D) Installation Of New Metal Ridge Rolls To The Two (2) Bays Of The Chapel Section.(E) Installation Of New Cedar Cap Shingles To The Hip Ridges Located At The East End Of The Chapel Section.(F) Dormer Restoration Work Including: New Cedar Ridge Boards, Wall Repairs, Metal Flashings, Exterior Casings, Shingle Repairs To Each Of The Ten (10) Dormer Windows.(G) Repairs To The Bell Tower Base Structure. Work Includes: Wood Preservation Treatment, New Corner Boards, New Flashings, Interior Access Hatch, Installation Of Vapour Barrier And Insulation, And Exterior Painting.(H) Installation Of New Metal Flashings To The Two (2) Brick Chimneys&Rsquo; Counter Slopes.(I) Exterior Painting Of The Affected Areas, Weather Dependent.
