We Wish To Appoint Main Contractor To Construct And Oversee A New Carpark Development At 160-176 Devonport Road, Tauranga Under Nzs 3915:2005 For Building And Civil Engineering Construction. Given The Significant Public Interest In This Project And The Need To Provide Additional Parking In The Cbd, It Is Crucial To Deliver The Project By The Proposed Deadline, Manage Stakeholder Engagement, And Minimise Disruption To The Surrounding Area. The Project Site, Located At 160-176 Devonport Road, Covers An Area Of Approximately 3107M2 And Is Currently Occupied By Three Primary Existing Buildings. The Existing Underlying Titles Include Allotment 171 Section 2 Tn Of Tauranga, Lot 1 Dps 3300, And Lot 2 Dps 3530. The Project Site Will Soon Be Undergoing Demolition Activities And Will Be Handed Over To The Civil Contractor With No Remaining Structures, Maintaining The Existing Concrete Slab Foundations And Asphalt Areas. The Start Date Of This Contract Will Depend On The Completion Of The Demolition Contract. The Civil Construction Scope For The Car Park Encompasses The Following Tasks: Regrade The Existing Site And Resurface With Chipseal And Line Marking. Install Approximately 100M Of Concrete Kerbing. Install Concrete Pad With Bike Parking Facilities. Install A Stormwater System Remove Existing Fence And Install Approximately 40M Of A New 1.2-1.8M High Masonry Block Wall. Coordinate New Lighting, Cctv Systems, And Pay Machines. Protection Of The Neighbouring Properties And Buildings During Construction. Removal Of Existing Vehicle Crossings And Reinstatement Of Public Kerb And Footpath. Incorporate Sustainable Construction Options.
