Tenders Are Invited For Dar Es Salaam Bus Rapid Transit Project - Technical Consultant. The Government Of TanzaniaS Dar Rapid Transit Agency (Dart) Is Implementing A Bus Rapid Transit System In Six Phases That Will Be Integrated And Work As One System; To Contend With Urban Mobility Challenges. Dart Has Requested Ifc To Support As Transaction Adviser In The Procurement Of Private Operators Who Will Operate And Manage Bus Services For Phases 3 And 4 Of The Dart Brt System (Individually Or Jointly; The Project). Each Phase Will Be Analyzed And Tendered Separately. Ifc; The Lead Transaction Advisor To Dart; Is Hiring A Technical Consultant To Serve As Technical Advisor And Conduct Technical Due Diligence Of The Project. One Of The Outputs Of The ConsultantS Services Will Be A Technical Due Diligence Report To Inform IfcS Transaction Structuring Report Which Sets Out The Project Structure. The Consultant Will Assist Ifc In All Technical Aspects Of The Project; Including Review Of And Recommendations On The Transaction Structuring Options As Investigated By Ifc; Assistance In Preparing And Presenting Legal Aspects Of The Project; Preparation Of Tender Documents And Project Agreements And Conducting A Transparent Bidding Process.
