C.#During Sc Affolding Erection, Contractor Shall Deploy Their Safety Officer And Supervisor Along With Scaffolding Supervisor To Confirm The Req Uired Scaffolding/Access Is In-Line With The Safety Requirements To Safely Carry Out Coating Works. Scaffolding Shall Be Checked Eve Ry Day By The Contractor#S Qualified Inspector And Safety Officer Before Use. Any Observations Shall Be Immediately Reported To The Dewa Interface Engineer/ Deputy Manager# Contractor Shall Take Responsibility To Obtain Gate Passes For The Staff Members, Materials , Vehicles In And Out From Dewa Premises And Permit To Work As Well As Formal Closure And Return The Permit To Work To Dewa.# # Cont Ractor Shall Provide All Required Consumables Such As Abrasives Materials, Sealants, Coatings, Cleaning Agents, Application Tools, I Nspection And Testing Tools, And All Other Consumable Or Tools Required To Carry Out The Complete Scope Of The Work.# D.#Contractor Shall Provide Appropriate Safety And Protection Equipment For All The Personnel Including First Aid Kit. Transportation Facilities And Site Office Container With Rest Room Shall Be Provided By Contractor As Well.# E.#Contractor Shall Take All Precautions To Avoi D Any Damages To The Plant Equipment While Carrying Out The Works. For Any Damages Caused By Contractor To Dewa Property During The Coating Process, Contractor Shall Be Held Liable To Replace Damaged Equipment At His Own Cost.# # F.#Due To Plant Operational Emerge Ncies, Dewa Reserves The Right To Change The Shutdown Schedule With Short Notice, In Such Case Contractor Shall Promptly Clear The W Ork Area And Revise The Work Implementation Schedule In Consultation With Concerned Dewa Engineer. In This Occurrence Contractor Is Not Entitled To Claim Any Extra Payment From Dewa On Account Of Such Re-Scheduling, Waiting Time Or Delay.# G.#Contractor Shall Wor K In Accordance With International Codes And Standards At Each Stage Of Works. In All Circumstances, Local Governing Rules Shall Be Adhered To.# # H.#Contractor Shall Complete All Activities Within The Mutually Agreed Outage Schedule.# I.#At All Times Contractors # Personnel Must Strictly Adhere To The Safety And Security Procedures Of Dewa During Their Presence And While Working Inside Dewa P Remises. # J.#Disposal Of All Kind Of Waste Created During Said Project Like Abrasives, Used Paint Containers, Rags And All Other Ma Terials By Contractor Shall Be According To Dubai Municipality Rules And Regulation Only. K.#Contractor Working On-Site, Mandatoril Y Have To Adhere To, But Not Limited To, The Following Environment Policies:#- ·#Support Our Integrated Management System Policy. · #Help Us To Achieve Our Environmental Objectives And Targets By Conserving Resources, Energy And Water And By Minimizing Waste Whils T On-Site. ·#Prevent Pollution Wherever Possible. ·#Follow Any Procedure In The Environmental Management System That Is Relevant To Your Activities In Accordance With The Site Managers Instructions. ·#Phase Out The Use Of Ozone Depleting Substances On Our Site. · #To Comply With Legislative Requirements Of Dubai Municipality At All Times. L.#Contractor To Clear The Site On Daily Basis Befor E Leaving Site After Day#S Work And Leave The Site In As Is Condition.# M.#In Case The Contractor#S Time Schedule For The Work Is F Ound Protracted, Dewa Has The Right To Split And Award The Contract To More Than One Contractor At Its Discretion. N.#Contractor Ha Ve To Commence The Work Within 48 Hours Of Intimation And Shall Complete All The Related Formalities Like Mobilization Of Staff, Too L & Plant Machineries, Gate Pass Etc., Well In Advance For The Work. O.#The Material And Or Service Provided To Dewa Should Preferably Be Energ Contractor Shall Be Responsible For Any Damage To The Eq Uipment Due To Poor Workmanship. Any Damage To The Equipment By The Poor Workmanship, Wrong Handling Etc., The Cost Will Be Recovere D From The Contractor. P.#In Spite Of All The Care Taken By The Contractor And His Workmen, If Any Of The Plant Items Are Damaged O R Defaced Or Otherwise Made In-Operational By The Contractor#S Men, This Shall Be Forthwith Reported To Dewa Engineer In-Charge Of T He Job To Avert Further Damages, Breakdown Or Shutdown Of The Total Plant. 4.0#Qualification Of Bidder A.#The Bidder Shall Have P Roven Experience In Abrasive Blast Cleaning, Application Of Protective Coating System, Inspection And Testing In Or Outside Uae In S Imilar Environment B.#The Bidder Should Establish His Previous Experience In Similar Activities Either In Dewa Or Outside Dewa C.#Th E Bidder Shall Have Specialists To Depute A Qualified Coating Inspector (Nace Certified Or Equivalent) Who Shall Conduct Inspections And Testing At Every Stage Of The Process At Dewa Premises And Release/Issue Required Clearance Certificates Of Acceptance/Clearanc E To Dewa. # 5.0#Terimination Of Contract: During The Contract, If The Performance Of The Consultant/Contractor Or The Quality Of H Is Work Is Found Unsatisfactory, Dewa Has The Right To Terminate The Contract 6.0#Site Pre-Requisites The Following Are, But Not L Imited To, The Minimum Pre-Requisites To Carry Out The Work At Site. A.#Contractor Shall Obtain Entry Permits From Dewa As Per Security Policies For This Works. B.#The Contractor Shall Always Comply With Dewa Rules Regarding Safety & Security Inside Dewa Premise S. C.#The Presence Of Contractor#S Manpower Shall Be Restricted To The Working Areas Only.
