German Uruguayan Agricultural Dialogue (Provisional Project Title). A Specialist Dialogue On Innovative, Resource-Saving And Climate-Friendly Measures In The Agricultural Sector Will Be Initiated, The Focus Of Which Will Be On Soil As A Resource. The Expert Dialogue Is Intended To Contribute To The Further Development Of Agroecological And Climate-Resilient Production Systems And To Create The Necessary Framework Conditions For This. The Political Partners Are The Bmel And The Uruguayan Ministry Of Livestock, Agriculture And Fisheries (Mgap). The Operational Project Partners In Ury Are The Mgap And The National Institute For Agricultural Research (Inia). Results Part 1 (E1) Consists Of A Continuation Of The Collaboration Between Inia And The Juliusk hninstitut (Jki) In The Area Of The Soil Microbiome. The Aim Is To Specifically Develop Soil Microns To Support Resource-Efficient And Climate-Adapted Plant Production Systems And Thus Contribute To Sustainable Land Use. Jki Is Appointed As The Technical Implementation Partner For The E1 And Is Therefore Not Part Of The Public Tender. However, The Implementing Organization Must Ensure Communication With Inia And Jki; The Work Results From E1 Will Be Included In The Overall Project, Especially In The Network Work Under Results Part 3 (E3). The Implementer Ensures Monitoring Across All Three Parts Of The Results. Results Part 2 (E2) Essentially Comprises A Political Dialogue Platform That Prioritizes Mgap Topics. These Include, Among Other Things, Sustainable, Soil-Friendly Cultivation Methods, Models For Calculating Carbon Sequestration, Best Practices For Growing Hemp For Fiber And Grain Production And The Further Development Of The Lwd. Advisory System. In Addition, E3 Aims At Regional Coordination, Networking And Dissemination Of Scientific Results From E1 And E2. For This Purpose, Regular, Supra-Regional Exchange With Bra, Arg And Other Procisur/Iica Member Countries Is Supported And, If Possible, The Procisur Network Is Used To Present Scientific Results And Initiate And Promote Professional Exchange. The Project Location Is Montevideo. A Seven-Month Introductory Phase Is Planned. Target Groups Are Specialists And Managers From: Agricultural Administration Institutions; Ury Research And Educational Institutions; Nationally Active Institutions (Including Iica, Procisur).
