Pack Of 100 Tail Units For Research Rockets. The Department Has Developed And Flight-Qualified A Tail Unit For The Passive, Aerodynamic Stabilization Of Various Rocket Stages And Vehicles Configured From Them (In Particular The S30 And The Red Kite And Black Brant Stages That Are Currently Being Introduced). Numerous Missions, Including Those From The Mapheus, Maser And Texus Programs, Were Equipped With These Tail Units. The Subject Of The Tender Is The Production Of 100 Units Of These Tail Units. The Tail Units Are Designed In A Differential Design. A Substructure (Frame) Milled From Solid Material Is Glued And Screwed To Load-Bearing Cover Plates. The Milled Fields Of The Frame Are Filled With Aluminum Honeycomb Structures. In Order To Enable Extended Flight Times In Hypersonic Conditions, The Leading Edge Is Made Of Phenolic Resin-Reinforced Fiber Fabric.
