Organizing Mammography Screening Services. The Object Of The Procurement Is The Organization Of Mammography Screening Services In The Welfare Area Of Satakunta. The Procurement Concerns Breast Cancer Prevention Screening In Accordance With Section 14 Of The Health Care Act (1326/2010) And The Governments Screening Decree (339/2011) For Female Age Groups According To The Screening Program In The Satakunta Welfare Area. Breast Cancer Screening Based On Mammography Must Be Performed In Accordance With All Applicable Official Regulations And In Accordance With Standardized Screening Practices. In Service Production, It Must Be Taken Into Account That The Operation Must Meet The Requirements Of The Radiation Act (859/2018) And The Government Decree On Ionizing Radiation (1034/2018), The Ministry Of Social Affairs And Healths Decree On Ionizing Radiation (1044/2018) And The Ministry Of Social Affairs And Healths Decree On Non-Ionizing Radiation Requirements According To The Limitation Of Exposure (1045/2018). The Service And Its Related Requirements Are Described In More Detail In Appendix 1 Service Description. The Actual Numbers Of Those Invited To The Screening Service Are Determined Each Year By Extracting The Above-Mentioned Age Groups From The Population Register. In Recent Years, Approx. 85% Of Those Invited Have Participated In The Research. Participation Activity Varies By Municipality And Age Group. The Numbers Are Estimates And The Procurement Unit Therefore Does Not Commit To Buying Any Specific Amount Of Service From The Service Provider Each Year. The Service Must Be Provided In At Least 5 Places In The Area. The Production Locations Of The Service Are Pori, Rauma, Kankaanp And Two Filming Locations In The Central/Southern Satakunta Area. It Is Estimated That A Total Of Approx. 15,000 Examinations Are Carried Out Each Year. The Customer Currently Has Valid Contracts With Of Services And New Agreements Enter Into Force When The Previous Ones Expire. The Goal Is For The New Contracts To Start On February 1, 2024.
