The State Center For Civic Education Nrw (State Headquarters Or Lpb Nrw) In The Ministry Of Culture And Science Of The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia (Contractual Partner Of The Contractor: Ministry Of Culture And Science Of The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia, Represented By The Minister Acting Through The Lpb Nrw) Is One Educational Institution. Its Task Is To Promote Democratic Awareness And Political Participation And Provides Information On A Variety Of Relevant Social And Educational Policy Topics In A Non-Partisan And Neutral Manner In Its Educational Contexts. In Order To Support Institutions And People From North Rhine-Westphalia Who Are Interested In Political Education Work, The State Headquarters Has A Wide Range Of Books, Brochures And Working Materials Available (See Appendix 1: List Of Publications). A Contractor Is Sought For A) The Storage, Packaging And Shipping Of The Publications As Well As B) The Completion Of Other Work After Further Consultation, E.G. Inserting Correction Sheets Into The Publications To Be Sent In The Event Of Errors That Need To Be Corrected Or Taking On Mailing Campaigns For Form Letters. The Dispatch Of Books, Brochures Etc. Is Organized As Follows: Citizens, Educational Institutions, E.G. Schools, Universities, Etc. Select Titles That Are Of Interest To Them From The Publication List And Order Them Directly From Lpb Nrw. Individuals May Request A Maximum Of Six Titles; Group Sets Or Class Sets Are Usually Made Available To Institutions Between 30 And 180 Copies. The Lpb Nrw Decides Whether The Order Will Be Complied With. If So, The Contractor Commissioned According To This Tender Will Be Informed Of This And Commissioned To Carry Out The Shipment. Individual Deliveries Can Consist Of Between One And More Than 100 Publications. The Contractor Compiles The Ordered Publications, Packs Them And Sends Them With A Delivery Note And Invoice (Approx. 1,000 Orders Per Month). The Contract Is For Recognized Workshops For People With Disabilities And Companies Whose Main Purpose Is The Social And Professional Integration Of People With Disabilities Or Disadvantaged People Within The Meaning Of Section 118 Of The Act Against Restraints Of Competition In The Version Announced On June 26, 2013 (Bgbl. I P.1750, 3245) In The Currently Valid Version Reserved. Approved Bidders Are Therefore Recognized Workshops For Disabled People ( 219 Of The Ninth Book Of The Social Code) And Workshops For The Blind ( 226 Of The Ninth Book Of The Social Code) As Well As Inclusive Companies Within The Meaning Of 215, 224 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 And Paragraph 2 Of The Ninth Book Of The Social Code. The Same Applies To Facilities In Other Countries That Are Comparable To The Aforementioned Facilities According To The Legal Provisions Applicable There.
